Responsible for supporting real estate transactions by providing a range of administrative and/or support duties to assist escrow processes as part of a production center, branch office, or member of a title team.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist branch operations with disbursement of escrow transactions by printing checks, issuing wires, creating cover letters, and issuing final Settlement StatementsReview and prepare closing files for disbursement once the file is closedConfirm that the file balances are accurate and disburse the funds according to directions, most often by issuing checksWork with lenders, buyers and escrow officers to balance files that have closed and disburse the filePerforms a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processesFollows clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilitiesUses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems without the consistent need to exercise discretionUses basic communication skills to address internal and/or external clients and/or team membersIndividual contributor working under direct supervision with little autonomyPerforms all other duties as assigned by managementEducationHigh school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferredExperienceTypically requires 0-2 years of related work experienceEqual Employment Opportunity EmployerStewart is committed to ensuring that its online application process provides an equal employment opportunity to all job seekers, including individuals with disabilities.
