Area Coach

AHA Huts is a 16 unit Pizza Hut franchise located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The position is located in the Greater New Orleans area. An Area Coach is an energetic restaurant operations leader capable of leading and directing the growth of 3-5 restaurants. The role involves overseeing people, processes, and operations to drive excellence in day‑to‑day operations across assigned stores. You will act as a trainer, coach, and motivator for Restaurant Managers, Shift Managers, and Restaurant Teams, support managers in goal setting, focus on in‑store problem solving and process improvement, and maintain standards. Operations and Leadership Mentor each manager in the market and ensure customer satisfaction Deliver RCP (Restaurant Controllable Profit) and meet targeted flow‑thru in each restaurant Analyze reports to identify opportunities Focus on top‑line orientation through operational focus and correct operational procedures Increase sales over the previous year for each assigned unit Execute the highest FSCC and HQSC standards, local health & safety codes, & company safety & security policy Take ownership, identify, and determine R&M (Repairs & Maintenance) issues and work with RGM's to resolve issues Work a customer‑based 50‑hour plus work week; report directly to the Territory Manager Operate well in a hands‑on working environment; contribute to maximizing P&L management, cash control/security procedures, inventory, labor, financial reports, and demonstrate a sense of urgency in taking appropriate action; multitask and prioritize tasks Communicate effectively to each level of the organization to provide timely verbal and written feedback to protect and grow the business Conduct effective and consistent visits using a period and weekly calendar and provide verbal and written feedback Have a working knowledge of local store marketing techniques and sales building; maintain high integrity and business ethics; recruit and develop people who move the organization forward; possess strong analytical, communication, delegation, strategic goal‑setting skills, and collaborative team‑building skills; make tough decisions in a fast‑paced environment Understand competitors’ current activities, anticipate trends, and effectively manage emerging business needs Management and Training Support the RGM by encouraging their management teams to improve performance and capability through continuous upgrading and high‑level talent development across all levels Hire, develop, and promote a strong bench by consistently preparing Shift and General Managers Ensure internal promotions and external hiring processes are executed at the area and restaurant level Take personal accountability in developing Shift Managers to ensure proper training before promotion Foster active talent development and results by continuously ranking and upgrading talent Hold RGMs accountable for being 100% staffed at all levels—Team Members, Shift Managers and RGMs who demonstrate celebrity treatment to everyone Execute selection and training processes via Hiring Zone and Learning Zone in restaurants, and hire/train and role‑model behaviors to develop talent to achieve bench and staffing targets Collaborate with other regional leaders to build know‑how, share best practices, and resources to support the region; build a culture of recognition by celebrating team successes Participate in new employee orientation and monitor training processes to ensure quality training Ideal Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with conflict resolution ability Basic business math and accounting skills Strong analytical decision making Computer literacy High School Diploma; College or University Degree Preferred Three to five years of successful high‑sales volume experience Operational management experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry Track record of workplace achievement in selection, coaching, and development of managerial employees Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee satisfaction Integrity and confidentiality Salary and Benefits $60,000 annually.
