Nurse Practitioner

Description We are a well-established, growing, friendly, Physician-owned pediatric practice. We have the honor of being an NCQA Certified Medical Home as well as a NCQA Behavioral Health Distinction. We have 4 offices located in the Fairfax, Chantilly, Alexandria and Woodbridge area of Northern Virginia. We are a Pediatric/Adolescent Medical Practice with 26 providers and growing. We offer lactation, nutrition and mental health service providers on-site. We are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for 3-4 days/week to join our well-established practice. Our continued growth has created an excellent opportunity for an experienced providers to join our practice immediately. Call is supported by an after-hours nurse triage service which handles most calls. No hospital rounds . Requirements Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine wellness exams, developmental screenings, and immunizations. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions. Educate families on child development, nutrition, and disease prevention. Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies within the scope of practice. Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare providers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records. Provide emotional support and guidance to children and families. Participate in community outreach and health education initiatives. Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) with a specialization in Pediatrics. Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with pediatric experience. Active state RN and APRN license or eligibility for licensure.
