Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Charge Nurse in a fast-paced Emergency Room / Emergency Care Center environment
• Oversee and coordinate patient care activities, ensuring safe and efficient department operations
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Prior Charge Nurse or leadership experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in emergent situations
• Previous travel nursing experience
