Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using established procedures and specifications.
• Utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators, for accurate dimensional measurement.
• Document inspection results thoroughly, maintaining accurate records, and generating comprehensive quality reports.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action requests and collaborating with production teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and in-process checks to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Participate in root cause analysis for quality defects and contribute to the implementation of preventive and corrective actions.
• Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve product quality and process stability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to uphold quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures, identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness enhancements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a related engineering field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
