Staff Architect

Staff Architect Designer – Arcadis Arcadis is the world’s leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. We are looking for a Staff Architect Designer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our Resilience Division team in the New York City / Westchester area. Responsibilities Under the guidance of Senior and Principal Architects, you will develop Conceptual Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation for commercial, industrial, and municipal water resource infrastructure projects across the tristate area and nationally. Key responsibilities include: Creating renderings, detail development, material research, and code research Conducting site and field visits Coordinating with other disciplines and sub‑consultants Communicating progress effectively to stakeholders through oral and written communication Contributing to project conceptual and design development stages Qualifications & Experience 5–10 years of experience in design and detailing with masonry, concrete, and steel construction in municipal and industrial environments Strong client‑management and communication skills with proven leadership experience Proficiency in Revit, Primavera and/or MS Project, and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with International Code Council Codes 3D Max, Rhino, Photoshop or other presentation platform experience Preferred Qualifications LEED or other sustainable program experience Actual building or construction experience Knowledge of NYC Codes and permitting requirements Documented Revit certification Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 – $115,000.
