Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support  a kind male client in Saltsburg . The client remains largely independent and uses a walker to get around his home, but has recently experienced a decline in his mobility and walking speed. He would benefit from a patient caregiver who can provide gentle support with transfers when needed, assist him safely in and out of the shower, and offer companionship and encouragement to help him remain comfortable and independent at home. He also experiences occasional confusion and sundowning in the evenings, so a calm, reassuring presence and consistent routine are especially valuable.

Schedule:

• Morning shifts: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Monday through Sunday

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old (Required)
• Must be a driver with  a reliable vehicle

• Ability to  transport clients to appointments, errands, and outings

• Valid driver's license and auto insurance

• Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB Quantiferon Gold Blood Test (Required)

Responsibilities:

• Provide  companion care (light housekeeping, meal prep, mobility assistance, social engagement)

• Deliver  personal care , including  toileting, bathing, grooming, and incontinence care

• Support clients with dignity, comfort, and independence

• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with office staff

Qualifications:

• At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home care, caregiving, or related field (Required)

• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance is a plus.

• Reliable, patient, and professional
