Hourly Pay Rate: $30.15

What You'll Do

Clean, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments and equipment
Operate sterilizers, Sterrad machines, ultrasonic cleaners, and other specialized equipment
Maintain sterile processing standards to ensure patient safety
Assist with inventory management and supplies documentation
Support emergency response protocols if assigned to emergency teams
Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure smooth workflow
Follow all safety and infection control protocols

What You Need

Required: CRCST or CSPDT certification; minimum 3 years' experience in hospital sterile processing (Level I or II)
Preferred: Experience with Sterrad, Ultrasonic systems such as CaviWave, Medisafe, Belimed; strong attention to detail and teamwork skills

About the Assignment This position is with a leading healthcare facility in New Orleans, LA, focused on providing top-quality surgical services. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining the safety and sterility of surgical instruments, supporting surgical teams, and ensuring compliance with infection control standards. Be prepared for potential emergency response assignments and work night shifts on a 3x12 schedule.
