The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in packaging design with hands-on experience in packaging test labs, ensuring that solutions are both innovative and validated through rigorous testing. This role requires strong collaboration across product, operations, and supply chain teams to deliver packaging that balances protection, cost efficiency, and sustainability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign DevelopmentTesting ValidationProject ManagementContinuous ImprovementQualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).Experience: 5–8 years of professional experience in packaging engineering, with proven expertise in corrugated packaging design and testing.Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ArtiosCAD). Strong knowledge of packaging materials, corrugated board grades, and converting processes. Familiarity with packaging test standards and lab equipment.Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Attributes: Experience with e-commerce or retail packaging solutions. Knowledge of sustainability practices in packaging design. Hands-on experience with packaging automation and manufacturing processes.The pay rate for the role is ***/hr. – ***/hr.
