District Sales Manager

As a District Sales Manager, you will play a key role in presenting our customers with a consultative, relationship-focused approach that will make their food service businesses thrive. This position will reside in: Springfield, IL Position Benefits A generous 401(k) matching program that is above industry standards Financial rewards for performance Low-cost benefit options for you and your family's health and future District Sales Manager You’ll be responsible for the following: Leading People Hire, develop, and retain staff, creating robust succession plans and developing the next generation of leaders Identify goals and objectives, provide regular and candid feedback through evaluations or coaching sessions Developing Business Plans Develop sales targets for individual sales representatives Understand areas of customer focus, including Sales Building, Staffing, Profitability, and Compliance Engage with the Industry Visit key existing and future customers You’ll learn: How to lead following the Servant Leadership model/framework How to Participate in food shows, regional customer events, customer segment shows, and customer trips to headquarters to maintain visibility with customers, segments, or associations Position Requirements Four or more years of previous sales or business experience Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, including profitability models Ability to work evening and weekend hours Maintaining a valid, unrestricted state driver's license and a safe driving record If applicable, must participate in the company vehicle reimbursement program and maintain required insurance levels Equal Employment Opportunity All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, status as a protected veteran, or status as a qualified individual with disability.
