Server - Canterbury Inn

We are seeking a personable and attentive server to join our Culinary Department at Canterbury Inn! Full-time opportunity! Earn between $17.13 and $18/hour, dependent on experience! Multiple Shifts! 7AM - 2PM & 11AM - 7:30PM, 5 days/week including weekends and holidays.

This role provides meal service and assists with other front-of-house tasks in the community. What you'll do: Prepare dining room tables and ensure dining room cleanliness Protect establishments and residents by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies Greet residents and families Assist residents select food and beverages by presenting menu, making suggestions and explaining chefs’ daily specials Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner Adhere to grooming and presentation standards consistently, maintain clean uniform at all times Assist with special events as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Positive impersonal skills are required A food handler's card is required Basic math skills Ability to lift 15 pounds Must be drug free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
