This opportunity is well suited for an experienced Clinical Director or a strong BCBA who is ready to take the next step into leadership. You’ll have the opportunity to develop clinicians, support clinical quality, and help shape the day-to-day clinical environment while maintaining a smaller caseload of your own.

Job Details

We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a Clinical Director in Chapel Hill, NC.

This role combines clinical leadership, clinician development, and direct oversight of ABA programming. Rather than carrying a traditional full BCBA caseload, the Clinical Director maintains a smaller group of approximately 3–4 learners, creating additional capacity to coach clinicians, support treatment quality, and provide leadership across the clinic.

You’ll partner closely with BCBAs, RBTs, families, and operational leadership to ensure children receive high-quality, individualized ABA services while helping the clinical team continue to develop.

What you’ll do:

Provide clinical leadership and day-to-day guidance to BCBAs and RBTs
Mentor clinicians and support their continued professional development
Oversee the quality and consistency of ABA treatment programs
Maintain a reduced caseload of approximately 3–4 learners
Develop, review, and adjust individualized treatment plans using clinical data
Provide supervision and feedback to clinical team members
Support effective RBT performance and development
Conduct caregiver training and collaborate with families on treatment goals
Help maintain strong clinical standards, documentation, and ethical practice
Partner with clinic and organizational leadership on clinical performance and continuous improvement
Help foster a collaborative, accountable, and supportive clinic culture

What we’re looking for:

Current BCBA certification
Appropriate eligibility/licensure to practice in North Carolina
Experience delivering ABA services to children with autism and related developmental needs
Strong clinical judgment and understanding of evidence-based ABA practices
Experience supervising, mentoring, or developing RBTs and/or other clinicians
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Interest in developing others and taking greater ownership of clinical outcomes

Previous Clinical Director experience is welcome, but it is not required. We are also interested in experienced BCBAs who have demonstrated clinical leadership and are ready to take the next step in their careers.
