Position Summary CARLTON SHORES HEALTH & REHAB CENTER is seeking a qualified Nursing Supervisor to oversee patients and manage the nursing team of our facility. The ideal candidate is responsible for supervising the delivery of care to residents, assessing resident needs, developing care plans, administering nursing care, evaluating nursing care, and supervising CNAs and other personnel. Requirements Registered Nurse with a current Florida state license. One (1) to three (3) years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred. Proven experience as a nursing supervisor. Team management skills. Excellent communication and people skills. Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment. Organizational and problem‑solving skills. Current FL RN license. Responsibilities Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve customer experience, enhance workflow, and improve the work environment. Complete assessments of residents at admission and discharge. Supervise nursing staff and allocate duties to LPNs and nursing assistants, as directed. Document services rendered for billing purposes. Make daily rounds to monitor resident care and status. Implement established nursing policies and procedures and educate support staff according to facility guidelines. Review charting weekly for accuracy and completeness. Maintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures. Respond to staffing shortages by arranging replacement staff. Track infection control, exposure control, and resident care trends to provide proactive improvement.
