Job Opportunity: Safety CoachEvers & Sons is looking for a talented, experienced, and motivated Safety Coach who will support and work closely with operational staff to align employees with a strong safety culture. Visit our website for more information: toHSE DirectorRequired Skills/AbilitiesOSHA and Safe Land Certification is required Instructor Certifications and Evaluator Certifications are preferredMust be extremely detail-oriented with proven strong time-management and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar softwareResponsibilitiesProvide daily site safety audits, collaborate with employees and supervisors, and monitor site activities to ensure the safety of all personnel working onsiteProvide field support and site-specific data for various corporate HSE-related initiatives geared toward compliance (ie SPCC Plans and DOT or etc.)Assure required inspections are being performed and that all required reports and/or documentation are being properly submitted to the correct reporting/regulatory agency(ies) and are being filed at the Company facility for future reviewContinually evaluate HSE programs and procedures for effective implementation based on field employees and sub-contractor complianceParticipate in State and Federal Regulatory inspections and/or auditsParticipate in the development of site-specific procedures such as atmospheric testing and hot workActively develop and implement programs as needed based on reliable research and health data from noise surveys, benzene surveys, atmospheric monitoring, etc.Develop and review Emergency Response Plans for pipelines and facility projectsPerform Onsite New Employee Orientation, and OnboardingPerform basic 1st Aid, CPR, and AED Conduct site toolbox talks, Stop Work Authority reviews, and job-site visits/auditsActively participate with the gas company's safety staff to implement local policies and proceduresMonitor and maintain One-Call validityBe professional and courteous in dealings with customers and/or vendorsEvers & Sons Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check investigation and drug screen.
