Job Description A Biomedical Equipment Tech III at Munson Healthcare is a candidate with 6+ years’ experience and CBET or CHTM certification. Under minimal supervision, BMET III’s will provide expert-level experience in the repair, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment. BMET III’s are expected to be proficient in CMMS equipment data reporting and management. If no CBET certification at time of hire, must obtain certification within 1-year of hire. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Technology or military trained in biomedical equipment service 4 years experience in healthcare biomedical equipment repair and calibration Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)-Must be from the International Certification Commission. If no CBET certification at time of hire, must obtain certification within 1-year of hire. Additional Information Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
