Job Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES:
The staff nurse is tasked with delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients across all stages of life. This role involves utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse operates in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, showcasing professional development and accountability. Additionally, the staff nurse is responsible for upholding practice standards and coordinating the patient care activities of all assigned personnel to ensure high-quality nursing care.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
Completion of an accredited nursing program.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
Recent graduates from a nursing program are welcome to apply.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
A valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or an NLC/eNLC Multistate License is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES:
For PRN roles: A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is a plus (refer to addendum).
Experience in a hospital setting is favored.
