City Delivery Dispatcher-1

To coordinate and oversee city route schedules, functions, and delivery specialists of the hub store to spoke stores. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Essential Job Functions Serve as contact person for city delivery service. Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice; ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery by scheduled time. Ensure accuracy of each order pulled prior to city delivery specialist picking up order for delivery. Maintain organized, clean city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store. Ensure hub delivery specialists are running on schedule and/or communicate any delays to stores remaining on route. Continually monitor hub system and routes to increase efficiency, productivity, and/or reduce expenses; communicate recommendations to store manager. Ensure all hub team members clock in and out according to company policy. Research any parts not delivered as scheduled and make necessary billing adjustments. Work with store manager to ensure route is covered in the absence of regular city delivery specialist. Work with store manager and delivery specialist to ensure vehicles are well maintained and inspections are completed thoroughly and accurately; ensure daily mileage is logged into asset management for all vehicles. Provide input to store manager regarding delivery specialists’ performance in preparation for performance evaluations. Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities Required Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Good interpersonal communication skills. Desired Familiarity with automotive parts. Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired). Total Compensation Package Competitive wages & paid time off.
