Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days or Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts (shift assignment dependent on facility needs at time of start)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting within an acute care environment
• Deliver nursing care across a Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital serving both acute care and long-term care patients
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility staffing needs, including potential float to affiliate locations
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required by facility scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand prior to placement
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Current BLS certification
• Willingness to work weekends and 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers and declinations not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ACLS certification
• Prior experience charting in Epic
• Experience in an acute care or critical access hospital setting
