Outside Sales Representative

Keck's Food Service is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage a territory in the Southern Tier Region, New York area.

In this role, you will develop new business, strengthen existing customer relationships, and help customers succeed while achieving and exceeding territory sales goals. Customers include independent restaurants, bakeries, hotels, clubs, convenience stores, colleges and universities, retail foodservice operations, and regional chains.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business and grow existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure a high level of service and satisfaction.
• Conduct sales presentations, process orders, introduce new products, and support current collections.
• Identify and qualify prospects aligned with company growth objectives.
• Analyze customer needs and recommend products and solutions that support their business goals.
• Monitor market trends, product innovations, and industry best practices to provide value-added recommendations.
• Prepare and conduct business reviews with key accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendor partners to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Maintain accurate and timely sales reports, account documentation, and customer records.
• Assist with accounts receivable collection activities as needed.
• Represent Keck's Food Service professionally within the community and customer base.
• Attend sales meetings, company events, and customer functions.
• Travel throughout the Southern Tier Region using a personal vehicle.

Compensation

Base Salary: $60,000 $80,000 annually, based on experience, paid weekly.

Performance-Based Commissions: In addition to base compensation, employees are eligible to earn commission based on sales performance. When the earned commission is greater than the base salary on a monthly basis, the additional commission amount will be paid.

Additional Support: We provide a phone allowance and automobile reimbursement/support to help you succeed in your role.

Work Schedule

No overnight travel. Home every day. Limited weekend calls depending on territory.

Work Location This position serves customers and prospects across New York's Southern Tier. To ensure strong market coverage and customer responsiveness, candidates are expected to live within the Southern Tier Region.
