Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst - Advanced
Location: Columbia, SC
Type: Contract | 12 Months
Work Schedule: Fully Onsite | 5 Days/Week
Pay Rate: $53.00/hr

Position Overview:
This role is a QA specialist for SC DHHS systems handling enrollment, eligibility, document management, and workflows. It focuses on testing Medicaid-related applications,
evaluating solutions, and suggesting improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, QA/UAT processes, and test cases for software development teams
• Perform regression, smoke, system integration, and end-to-end testing
• Identify issues, defects, and testing gaps while coordinating resolutions with technical teams
• Maintain defect tracking and testing documentation
• Review test plans, test scripts, and test reports for quality and compliance
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders throughout testing phases
• Support automated testing using Sahi Pro/Selenium frameworks
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing governance, and best practices
• Report testing progress, open issues, and testing outcomes to leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, or healthcare field OR equivalent QA experience
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance and Quality Control experience
• 5+ years translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios
• 3+ years of Sahi Pro/Selenium Automation Framework experience
• Experience designing and developing automated test scripts
• Experience with formal test design techniques such as Equivalence Class Partitioning and Pairwise Analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Large enterprise or e-business systems experience
• Medicaid or healthcare industry experience
• Experience with HIPAA EDI/X12 standards
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Experience working in Waterfall and Agile environments
• Experience with test design tools such as PICT or equivalent
