Are you passionate about helping others succeed? LLCC is looking for a Student Success Advisor to support students as they navigate their college journey. In this role, you will:

• Build strong, supportive relationships with students
• Help students develop decision-making skills
• Guide them toward achieving their academic goals

As a staff member at LLCC, you can look forward to 23 paid holidays a year, including 2 weeks at the end of the calendar year and one week in March for mid-semester break; 12 Fridays off in the summer; and 5 personal days, 12 sick days, and starting with 15 vacation days per year. LLCC staff, their spouse and qualified dependent children are eligible to use the tuition waiver on credited courses. Staff can also enjoy free access to our on-campus fitness center. The person hired into this position will be placed within this range based on education, training, experience, and skills as it compares to existing LLCC staff in similarly situated positions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR extensive, relevant work experience OR an appropriate combination of education and experience.
• One year of work experience in education.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
• Ability to collaborate with appropriate stakeholders and solve problems.
• Detail orientation, strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and good time management skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer programs and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work until 6pm at least one night a week; evening and weekend hours are common during peak times of the year.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel or related field.
• Experience in a community college setting.

Position Salary
Starting salary is likely to be between $53,027 and $62,004 per year with an excellent benefits package.
