Carrier Sales Representative

Our client is seeking a Senior Carrier Sales Representative for their growing team in the Austin, TX area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls to facilitate freight coverage and bookings
- Develop and own carrier partnerships
- Onboard new carrier partnerships
- Identify recurring shipments to match with dedicated carriers
- Negotiate rates with carriers
- Track and trace progress of each shipment
- Assist with collecting final paperwork from carriers for each shipment
- Communicate and collaborate with internal Sales and Account Management teams
- Troubleshoot issues throughout the shipping process
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience within a 3pl non asset-based logistics brokerage
- Hunter mentality with proven ability to book freight
- Strong organization skills ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to work in-office daily
Location: Austin, TX area - in-office daily (required)
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 base + commission
