We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Job Coach to empower individuals with diverse abilities to achieve their employment goals. Position Type: Part-Time, Hourly Employee

Hours Per Week: 10- 29 hours per week; schedule varies and includes shifts Sunday through Saturday; Must be available some evenings and Saturdays

Location: Job Sites vary throughout Washington County; you will work alongside our clients where they are employed

Position Summary:

The Job Coach supports and empowers individuals with disabilities to achieve independence and meaningful employment. This role provides hands-on job readiness training, placement support, and continuous job coaching to help individuals succeed in competitive employment environments.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to successfully obtain all three clearances (PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances)
• Must be able to pass a physical, TB test, and full drug test
• Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with special needs
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation to get to and from assigned job sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Help individuals with disabilities maintain employment through tailored job readiness and skills training.
• Deliver individualized Supported Employment Services, including:

o Needs assessments

o On-site job coaching and training

o Task analysis

o Ongoing support and follow-up services

• Serve as a liaison among the employer, the client, and TEC, ensuring effective communication and a smooth transition into the workplace.
• Provide one-on-one coaching to meet employer expectations, followed by gradual reduction in support (systematic fading).
• Monitor and evaluate job performance in various employment settings (volunteer, trial, or competitive).
• Complete reports that accurately represent each clients performance.
• Complete daily performance evaluations with input from the employer and review them with the employee.
• Complete reports and submit within the requested timeframes
• Collaborate with Employment Specialists to ensure continuity and effectiveness of support services.
• Attend required staff meetings and ongoing training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the TEC Executive Director.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.65 per hour
