Our Assonet, MA team is hiring a full-time Teacher's Aide to support critical education and therapeutic services for students with special needs. You'll assist with direct care and learning activities in the classroom while fostering a supportive environment.

In this entry-level role, you'll earn up to $17.50 - $19 per hour and receive a sign-on bonus of up to $1,500! WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As our entry-level Teacher's Aide, you'll coordinate with the special education teacher to help students during educational, therapeutic, and direct care activities. Working with assigned students, you'll get them involved in the classroom activities and handle direct care functions as needed (eating, toileting, personal hygiene, etc.).

You'll learn state curriculum frameworks, help with updating and maintaining student records, and lead classroom activities during teacher planning days. Over time, you'll keep an eye on the students' progress and provide input during evaluation periods like annual summaries and six-month reviews. Always cheerful, friendly, and respectful, you'll be a bright spot in our students' days!

• Employment as a Crystal Springs waived special education teacher
• Enrollment in an approved educator preparation program for severe disabilities
• Demonstration of continuous progress in second (and subsequent) years
• Evaluation rating of "Needs Improvement" or higher in the preceding school year
