Job Description
Purpose: The Clinical Specialists provides distributive and clinical pharmacy services to the inpatients and outpatients of the Medical University Hospitals and clinics.
Requirements: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (Include physical and mental demands of the position-attach demands checklist if necessary:
The position of Clinical Pharmacy Specialist requires a doctoral degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy.
Two years of clinical pharmacy experience or completion of a clinical pharmacy residency program.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS (If applicable to position):
SC Pharmacist License (or eligible for SC Pharmacist License)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Must be BLS Certified within three months of hire date and maintain certification throughout employment.

Additional Job Description
Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
