Virtual High School Science Teacher

Description

As a growing school, the Rural Virtual Academy is currently seeking the highest-quality applicant for a High School Science teacher available to begin immediately.

Position Expectations include:
• Ability to teach live instruction classes on a daily basis throughout the year.
• Occasional travel required.
• Ability to maintain a remote office with a high-speed internet connection.

Preference will be given to those candidates:
• Holding a Wisconsin teaching license in grades 9 - 12 in the area of Broadfield Science (required).
• Previous online teaching experience.
• Willing to work year-round full-time (210 days).

Skills / Requirements:
For consideration for a teaching position, candidates must meet all of the job requirements as listed below:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Wisconsin Certified Teaching License in content area assigned; Grades 9 - 12 preferred
