Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Sonographer to perform diagnostic imaging studies in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will administer echocardiograms and ultrasounds to assist in patient diagnosis and care.

Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed ultrasound and echocardiogram procedures on patients according to physician instructions
Ensure proper operation of ultrasound equipment and maintain high-quality imaging standards
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and addressing any concerns
Document and interpret imaging results accurately within the charting system
Follow all safety protocols, including maintaining a smoke-free campus and adhering to dress code
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and effective patient care

Qualifications:

Hold ARDMS or ARRT certification; ARRT registration acceptable with ARDMS expected within 6 months
Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant ultrasound experience
Be licensed in TN or hold a valid compact license
Ability to work night shifts (3x10 or 4x8 hours shifts)
Demonstrate knowledge of ultrasound and echocardiogram procedures
Be willing to work outside a 50-mile radius from the facility, with no local candidates accepted
