Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspector

We are looking to hire Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspectors to perform residential property inspections on behalf of mortgage lenders. Job Title: Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspector County Coverage: Ft Bend, Harris Inspection Volume per Month: 300 Preferred Experience: Knowledgeable and experienced inspectors Have used at least one of the industry-standard smartphone apps: InspectorADE (used by GIS), EZ Inspections, or SafeView Inspect Currently conducting occupancy inspections (or have in the past) Mortgage Property Inspection Overview: Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on properties they have a financial interest in. The lender contracts with GIS to have inspectors verify property occupancy, report general property conditions, deliver/post letters, conduct vacant interior walkthroughs, or insurance repair progress reports. Most inspections are basic exteriors, but some require contact via door knock or letter delivery. Additionally, some inspections require interior access to secured or vacant properties and appointment-based insurance loss inspections. Job Responsibilities: Spend extended periods driving to inspections Manage time efficiently to route and complete inspections within a 3-5 day turnaround in your territory Determine occupancy status based on industry standards and report general property conditions Use a mobile app to capture photographs, comments, and documentation Maintain consistent communication with your inspection manager via text, email, and phone Requirements: Valid US driver’s license Aspen Grove ABC # Computer with internet access Fuel-efficient vehicle iPhone or Android device Printer Office supplies (paper, envelopes, ink) HUD keys (set of 11) Daylight hour availability Volt stick (preferred) Pay and Hours: Set rate per inspection estimated at $15-$20+ per hour, depending on location, volume, and efficiency Inspections are paid weekly via direct deposit for work completed the prior week Expected work hours: 5-15+ hours per week, depending on the territory This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position #J-18808-Ljbffr GIS Field Services
