Abacus Staffing is hiring experienced General Warehouse Associates with Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) experience for a Direct Hire opportunity with one of our most reliable clients in Shepherdsville, KY. Responsibilities
- Safely operate an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) to move products throughout the warehouse
- Load, unload, transport, and stage materials efficiently
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately
- Use RF scanners to complete inventory and warehouse transactions
- Maintain inventory accuracy and follow established warehouse procedures
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies at all times
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) is required
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Shift Options & Pay
1st Shift 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM $20.00/hour
2nd Shift 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM $21.00/hour
