Senior Accountant – Program Management Group | Central Florida (Hybrid) | Up to $110K + 10% BonusA well-established program management organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is a hybrid role based in Orlando, offering a dynamic opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end accounting for insurance entities under both Statutory and US GAAP principles. The company may also consider candidates for its NYC office.In this role, you’ll manage the full scope of accounting activities including general ledger oversight, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, close schedules, and variance analysis. You’ll also handle reinsurance and claims cash activity, support statutory filings and premium tax/FET payments, and monitor daily cash and ERP transactions. The position plays a key role in preparing first-pass financials and supporting internal and external audits.The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of accounting experience in the insurance industry—carrier, MGA, TPA, or similar—with a strong working knowledge of both Statutory and US GAAP reporting. Advanced Excel skills and hands-on general ledger experience are essential. A CPA designation is strongly preferred, and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) is a plus.
