Part-Time Receptionist - Elk Grove Volkswagen

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. Working in the car business can be fast paced. This role requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in various office management tasks, including handling multi-line phone systems and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Shift:

Monday-Friday 4:00pm-7:00pm

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, ensuring effective communication.
• Perform data entry, filing, and clerical duties to support office operations.
• Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including proofreading documents and managing office supplies.
• Ensure the reception area is organized and presentable at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance office efficiency and workflow.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
• Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and filing.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience in dental or medical reception is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with office management procedures and administrative support functions is beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15-20 per week
