Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Shifts: 7:00–17:30 or 12:30–23:00 (36–40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume general surgery OR environment with 14 general surgery suites and 28 total suites
• Support a wide range of surgical cases including laparoscopic procedures, DaVinci robotic cases, gynecological, urological, vascular, and ENT surgeries
• Collaborate with surgical technologists and charge nurses to facilitate efficient case flow averaging 20–40 cases per day
• Participate in assigned weeknight and weekend call shifts with a 30-minute call response time requirement
• Float to other surgery teams or sterile processing department (SPD) as needed and if qualified
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC OP TIME electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in general surgery, gynecology, and urology within an OR setting
• Demonstrated experience with general surgery, urology, GYN, and ENT cases
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Must be able to comply with drug-free workplace policy, including a negative drug screen for all panels

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a large, high-volume OR facility of comparable size within the last 2 years
• Familiarity with DaVinci robotic-assisted surgical cases
• Experience in sterile processing or ability to float to SPD if qualified
