Job Title: VDC Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated VDC Coordinators to join a significant data center project located near Detroit, MI. In this role, you will engage in BIM/VDC coordination across multiple disciplines, including process piping, mechanical, and electrical systems. Your expertise will support the seamless integration and execution of project plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-discipline BIM/VDC coordination for mechanical, electrical, and process piping systems.

• Conduct clash detection and coordination using Navisworks and Revit.

• Facilitate coordination between design teams, subcontractors, and field teams.

• Identify and resolve clashes and constructability issues.

• Maintain and update BIM models to reflect field conditions.

• Participate in coordination meetings with stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans and project standards.

Essential Skills

• 3–8+ years of BIM/VDC coordination or modeling experience.

• Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks.

• Experience in construction-phase coordination.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical, or piping systems.

• Experience with data center or industrial projects.

• Experience from the Consulting firm or Subcontractor side is preferred.

Work Environment

This position requires onsite presence full-time at a Detroit area Data Center, working Monday to Friday from 7am to 5:30pm, with occasional Saturdays. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
