Registered Nurse (RN)

Varied 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM) with every other weekend included and a 36-hour guarantee. Candidates are also welcome for straight night shifts.

Every other weekend availability is required.

No on-call duty required.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a newly acquired residential facility. The organization is committed to providing comprehensive care and empathetic support to individuals striving for long-term sobriety.

Complete patient admission procedures, including paperwork, orientation, and monitoring of urinalysis collection.

Conduct thorough searches of patient belongings upon admission and dispose of any prohibited items appropriately.

Administer and evaluate tuberculosis skin tests.

Document findings in the patient's chart, including nursing assessments, treatment plans, physician's orders, progress notes, and other pertinent data.

Provide direct care to patients, monitoring for signs and symptoms of intoxication and withdrawal.

Administer medically monitored evaluation and withdrawal management under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Monitor for changes in patient conditions and maintain a hygienic and safe environment in compliance with healthcare procedures.

Update and maintain accurate Medication Administration Records.

Manage and administer medications as prescribed by the Medical Director.

Provide guidance to technicians on the assigned shift.

Collaborate with patients to develop individualized treatment plans addressing medical issues.

Offer emotional support through active listening, counseling, and responding to questions.

Consult with in-house staff and outside professionals to ensure comprehensive quality care for patients.

Provide referrals for patients' identified needs that cannot be met internally.

Maintain professional boundaries with patients and ensure appropriate interactions.

Perform all other related duties as assigned.

The registered nurse to patient ratio is 1:30, depending on activity level. Experience with EMR systems is preferred, specifically Kipu. Professional attire consists of any color scrubs.

BLS certification is required. A current and active RN license in the state is necessary.
