Creative Director, Design

The Creative Director will lead the Apple TV Design team’s creative development for global, multi-platform marketing campaigns tied to original programming, including Apple TV originals and sports design and artwork. The role sets direction across key art, agency collaboration, production planning, asset distribution, and creative budgets and timelines. Key Responsibilities Guide the creative development of design marketing materials and contribute to overall campaign direction. Manage the creation of key art and visual representation for shows and leagues, including building and organizing key art presentations for upper management. Provide creative direction for promotional materials, covering concept development, creative direction, and tactical execution. Oversee outside creative agency relationships, including providing direction and revisions on comp explorations, reviewing proofs, and approving mechanicals. Manage production calendars, issue timely direction, flag potential issues early, and help ensure delivery against deadlines. Lead fulfillment for print and outdoor or transit media buys as needed. Develop multi-media extensions that extend the show experience across the Apple Ecosystem. Participate in creative brainstorming across a wide range of marketing campaigns. Communicate creative plans across cross-functional teams and to senior leadership. Identify and build working relationships with new creative and production vendors while strengthening partnerships with existing vendors to conceive and execute campaigns. Oversee creative budgets and timelines, including monitoring team budget details and signing off on vendor invoices. Supervise organization and distribution of show and network creative assets with internal and external partners. Required Qualifications Ability to develop creative solutions when the plan needs to pivot. Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working directly with talent, athletes, and creators to collaborate on campaigns. A collaborative, team-oriented approach. Minimum 8 years of creative design and direction experience with emphasis in sports and entertainment, preferably at least 5 years leading a team. Strong Mac skills and fluency or expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Apple Keynote . Fluency in digital, social, AV, and print advertising formats and design best practices. Ability to create and direct high-quality entertainment creative and design. Additional Preferences Experience working with global teams. Familiarity with AI tools.
