Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Conduct thorough patient screenings and evaluations to identify needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Design and update individualized treatment and discharge plans to help patients regain function and mobility
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services to ensure seamless care coordination
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in line with state practice acts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
- Active Physical Therapy license in Indiana or the ability to obtain one
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
- Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs
Education
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
Knowledge & Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices
- Proficiency in patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Excellent clinical documentation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
