24-hr Services: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, OR Response Time, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology
Specialty Backup Available: General Surgery, Orthopedics, OBGYN, Hospitalist
Support Staff: RNs: 4, MAs: 1, PA/NPs: 2, Office Staff: 1

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC required
Licenses: WI license or IMLC
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide emergency department and urgent care coverage during night shifts
Manage 40-60 patients per 24-hour period in a combined ED/UC setting
Collaborate with General Surgery, Orthopedics, OBGYN, and Hospitalist teams
Utilize Telestroke and Tele ICU services to support patient care
Coordinate with UW helicopter services for patient transport as needed
