RN - NICU

NICU Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with every other weekend requirement.

The NICU Registered Nurse will provide specialized care in a Level III NICU environment. The role involves managing a patient ratio of 1:3 and caring for neonates at 22+ weeks gestation. The nurse may float to the Bryn Mawr Campus as required. Candidates should be prepared to administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide family education regarding neonatal care.

Responsibilities:

• Administration of medications and blood products.
• Support and manage high-risk deliveries.
• Provide developmental care for neonates.
• Monitor and manage ventilator therapies and other respiratory support systems.
• Educate families on neonatal care and breastfeeding support.
• Conduct APGAR scoring and blood glucose monitoring.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting.
• Current BLS and NRP certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Travel experience is preferred but not required.
