We're seeking a hands-on Field Technician II to perform testing, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical power distribution equipment. What You'll Do * Perform testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical power equipment, including circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, motors, CTs, PTs, and grounding systems. * Operate specialized testing equipment such as Ductor, Hi-Pot, power factor, and ratio/saturation testing equipment. * Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. * Document test results and field findings accurately. * Follow established safety procedures and identify potential job site hazards. * Travel to customer sites and represent the company professionally. Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in electrical power systems, utilities, industrial maintenance, electrical contracting, testing, or commissioning. * Hands-on experience with electrical equipment and power distribution systems. * Ability to work safely around low, medium, and high-voltage equipment. * Experience reading electrical drawings and schematics. * NETA certification or equivalent experience preferred. * Strong communication skills and willingness to travel locally and regionally. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
