ABOUT THIS PHYSICAL THERAPY ROLE

As our Physical Therapist, you'll begin each day by evaluating new and existing patients, assessing their mobility, strength, function, and overall rehabilitation needs, and developing customized treatment plans designed to support both short-term progress and long-term success. You'll implement evidence-based therapy programs using a variety of techniques, closely monitor patient progress, and make treatment modifications as needed to ensure safe and effective recovery. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with caregivers, healthcare providers, Physical Therapist Assistants, technicians, and support staff to coordinate care, communicate patient progress, and create positive outcomes. You'll also maintain accurate documentation, recommend assistive equipment or follow-up care programs when appropriate, develop discharge plans, and continuously expand your professional knowledge through educational opportunities-all while serving as a trusted source of encouragement and motivation for every patient you treat.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A PHYSICAL THERAPIST

BS or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from a physical therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association Current Physical Therapy License in the state of operation Proven success developing treatment plans that align with patient needs and implementing them safely and effectively Experience treating patients across a wide range of age groups and injury types Experience administering physical therapy techniques including manual therapy, physical agents, traction, and ultrasound Experience assisting and directing treatments provided by aides, technicians, and assistants Knowledge of facility equipment, proper usage procedures, best practices, and preventative maintenance Experience recommending assistive equipment and outpatient or home health follow-up programs Ability to motivate patients to safely push their limits and achieve functional goals The ideal candidate is a patient-focused, compassionate clinician who inspires confidence, encourages recovery, and is always eager to learn new techniques that enhance patient care.
