We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse Receiver to support a wholesale auto parts distribution operation. In this role, you accurately receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments using RF scanning technology, ensuring inventory is correctly recorded and stored. You work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and handle automotive parts of varying sizes while maintaining safety, organization, and clear documentation.

• Receive inbound shipments of automotive parts and materials from vendors and carriers in an accurate and timely manner.
• Utilize RF scanners to verify, scan, and record incoming inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, and overall quality, promptly reporting any discrepancies or shortages.
• Unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or by hand as needed, following safe material handling practices.
• Label, tag, and properly store products in assigned warehouse locations to maintain an organized inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and other inventory control activities as required.
• Ensure all receiving documentation, including packing slips and bills of lading, is completed, verified, and filed correctly.
• Coordinate with inventory control, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve receiving issues and inventory discrepancies.
• Perform picking, packing, order picking, and loading tasks as needed to support overall shipping and receiving operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area in compliance with company safety standards.
• Follow all company policies, OSHA guidelines, and established safe material handling procedures.

• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse receiving, shipping, or inventory roles, preferably in an automotive or distribution environment.
• Proficiency using RF scanners to verify and record inventory.
• Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ability to read and interpret packing slips, invoices, and other shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate receiving and documentation.
• Solid organizational skills to manage multiple shipments and inventory tasks in a high-volume setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and use of inventory systems.
• Capability to perform material handling tasks such as unloading, loading, and moving products safely.

• Familiarity with automotive parts and components is a strong plus.
• Experience in shipping and receiving operations, including packing, order picking, and loading.
• Comfort using pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar warehouse equipment.
• Ability to collaborate with inventory control, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve issues.
• Commitment to following OSHA guidelines and safe material handling practices.

This position is based in a small warehouse environment with a team of about 10 colleagues, fostering a cooperative and supportive atmosphere. The role follows a first-shift schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., providing predictable daytime hours. You will work around automotive parts of various sizes and weights, using RF scanners, warehouse management systems, pallet jacks, and potentially forklifts, while adhering to company safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

This is a Contract position based out of Ashburn, VA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
