Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading distribution and logistics company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the distribution yard supporting operations that ensure efficient handling and movement of products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Chester, NY Pay Range: $21.00/hr + Overtime Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm with overtime What's the Job? Operate sit-down gas forklifts (LINDE) and clamp trucks to move products from trailers to warehouse Unloading products from trailers and checking materials in using an iPad Place products in designated spots within the warehouse and staging orders for clients Rotate products in the yard and warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized environment Perform quality checks on loads and validate for accuracy What's Needed? Ability to operate sit-down gas forklifts and clamp trucks safely and efficiently Willingness to work in a physically active environment Attention to detail for inventory checks and quality validation Reliable attendance and punctuality Must wear composite steel-toed shoes and Unilock clothing (vest & goggles) as required What's in it for me?
