Automotive & Diesel Technician (A-Level )
Are you a diagnostic powerhouse who can seamlessly switch from a complex gas engine misfire to a diesel DEF system issue? We are a independent repair shop looking for a top-tier Lead Automotive & Diesel Technician to join our growing team. If you are tired of corporate bureaucracy, un-billable warranty time, and cutting corners, we offer an environment where your advanced skills are highly valued, properly supported, and heavily compensated.
What You Will Do
- Perform complex mechanical and electrical diagnostics on gas, light-duty diesel, and medium-duty fleet vehicles.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex driveability complaints, electrical networks (CAN bus), emissions control systems (DPF/SCR), and hydraulic/braking systems.
- Complete engine tear-downs, timing component replacements, and major assembly overhauls with precision.
- Provide accurate digital vehicle inspections (DVIs) to help service advisors explain needed repairs clearly to clients.
- Maintain a clean, organized bay and respect shop safety standards.
