Contract Type:  Travel Contract

Shift Type:  Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week:  36

Candidate Pay Rate:  $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs, hemodynamic status, and sedation levels during procedures
• Assist physicians with catheter insertion, contrast injection, and device placement
• Educate patients and families about pre- and post-procedure care
• Ensure sterile technique and patient safety at all times
• Document patient responses and procedure details accurately

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy, pathophysiology, and interventional procedures
• Proficiency in sterile technique and infection control
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Competence in hemodynamic monitoring and arrhythmia recognition
