JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a temp to hire Warehouse Associate in Greenville, SC . The Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling shipping and receiving tasks and documentation, warehouse support.

The work hours for this position are:

Monday - Thursday, 7 am to 4 pm (15-minute morning break & 45-minute lunch break from 12:15 to 1:00)


Friday - 7 am to 2 pm - with a 15-minute morning break

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cycle Counting
• Receiving of incoming shipments; inspecting for damage; reporting to supervisor any concerns
• Loading of outgoing shipments including preparing and maintaining shipping documents
• Maintaining inventory standards set by the Logistics Manager, utilizing proper bin locations
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstation neat; maintaining a clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Awareness of equipment preventative maintenance schedule
• Maintaining quality service by following organization standards
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related tasks
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to operate a pallet jack
• Deadline driven
• Ability to work in a fast paced, often time sensitive, environment
• Material Handling training and knowledge

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years in warehouse environment
• 1 year in shipping and receiving environment
• Forklift Certified a plus
• Experience with Material Planning System a plus
