Job Overview A law firm seeks a General Liability Associate in Los Angeles. This position offers hybrid work flexibility, requiring a minimum of two in-office days per week. The role involves representing businesses in various liability and litigation matters, providing an opportunity to work with experienced litigators and partners. Duties Manage all aspects of written discovery, including drafting and responding to requests. Take and defend depositions, attend site inspections, and interview witnesses. Appear at court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. Develop and execute litigation strategies, including case evaluation and risk assessment. Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout litigation. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Active member of the California State Bar in good standing. One year of civil litigation experience. Proven experience in premises liability litigation, ideally in a law firm environment. Strong legal research and writing abilities with keen attention to detail. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications Active member of the California State Bar.
