Facility Technician I

Clean Harbors in San Jose, CA is currently looking for a Facility Technician to join their team! As a Facility Technician I you will perform hands on operations. This is a great opportunity for college students or recent high school grads wanting to gain some work experience. RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Overview: This is a hands‑on drum‑pumping position responsible for safely consolidating liquid waste for shipment through the facility's rail spur. Key Responsibilities Pump liquids from drums into designated tanks using a 2-inch air-operated diaphragm pump Consolidate liquids for shipment through the rail spur Pull tracking labels and scan them to the appropriate receiving tanks Collect samples from drums Consolidate sludge safely and efficiently Load empty drums into designated trailers Operate a forklift; certification will be provided on-site Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and facility requirements Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
