What you'll do: Provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular disease, prescribe glasses and contact lenses, and collaborate closely with ophthalmologists to deliver seamless, patient-centered care. Utilize advanced diagnostic and clinical technology such as ZEISS Clarus ultra-widefield retinal imaging, visual field analyzers, OCT imaging, Pentacam corneal tomography, specular microscopy, and electronic refraction systems (EPICS). Participate in a team-based approach supported by in-room scribes and a highly trained technician team that performs refractions and comprehensive workups, allowing providers to focus on patient care. Who you are: Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school or college of optometry. Active Pennsylvania optometry license or eligibility to obtain one. Ability to diagnose and treat ocular disease in accordance with Pennsylvania law. Clinical skills in full scope of optometric care, including ocular disease diagnosis and treatment, contact lens care, and routine vision services. Credentialing eligibility with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans. Strong clinical judgment, clear communication skills, professionalism, and ability to build rapport with patients. Collaborative mindset and commitment to working closely with ophthalmologists and support staff.
