Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions that help patients rebuild strength and mobility
• Document every patient's progress and response to treatment with detail
• Empower patients with education and home exercise programs for lasting results
• Collaborate with the supervising PT to ensure seamless care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment for all

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Connecticut PTA license or ability to obtain one before starting
• Strong communication skills for patient and team interactions
• Ability to follow care plans while working collaboratively
• Passion for making a real difference in people's lives

Education

• Associate's degree or graduation certificate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation principles
• Mobility assistance and therapeutic exercise
• Infection control and safety compliance
• Interdisciplinary teamwork
• Patient care, education, and documentation
• Treatment plan implementation
