Admissions Assistant (Full-Time)

Las Colinas Post Acute Pay: $20.00 $22.00 per hour (DOE)

Position Summary: Las Colinas Post Acute is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused admissions assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the admissions process, ensuring a smooth transition for residents and their families, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with facility policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the admissions process, including gathering required documentation and obtaining necessary signatures
• Coordinate with hospitals, families, and internal departments to facilitate timely admissions
• Prepare resident admission packets and ensure all required documentation is complete
• Maintain accurate records of resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Support census development by assisting with inquiry follow-up and referrals
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all facility policies regarding confidentiality
• Provide administrative support to the admissions coordinator and leadership team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous admissions, healthcare, or administrative experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
